The project life-cycle has long been defined as starting once a program is approved by the organization and ends once launch is over. This definition has increasingly come under scrutiny with businesses focusing on Value as a key measure of success.  This discussion examines the existing life cycle definition, delves into when a project starts, examines success criteria, and explores how we as a community can help organizations evolve the definition to embrace todays changing project delivery criteria.

Objectives / Agenda:

  • What are definitions of project life cycle?
  • When does a project start?
  • How do we define project success?
  • Is there an opportunity to reshape / evolve the definition?
  • Take-aways for your organization
